BHOOF BRIDLE 2 - FLASH

The slimmer headpiece provides a softer touch to distribute pressure across the horse's neck and offers space for the crest. This design is especially well-suited for horses with more delicate or narrower skulls. Its slim design and soft padding around the base of the ears help relieve pressure on this sensitive area with a lot of nerves. This allows for free ear movement while minimising discomfort and rubbing. It also ensures a better fit between the muscles of the neck and head, providing increased comfort for the horse.
The browband is properly sized to prevent the headpiece from being pulled forward, avoiding unnecessary pressure at the base of the ears. The bridle’s cheekpieces are equipped with regular buckles for attaching the bit and elastic loops for a softer contact with the horse’s mouth.
The English flash noseband has a classic and sleek design that fits many types of horses. The noseband is equipped with thick, adjustable padding at the back to ensure a secure fit and reduce pressure on the jaw. This noseband should not be tightened more than enough to fit about two fingers between the nosebridge and the noseband. It should sit two centimeters below the cheekbone and provides the horse with great freedom of movement in the mouth, allowing it to chew the bit comfortably. For increased freedom, remove the flash strap.
This noseband is best suited for horses that are not particularly sensitive to the movement of the bit and have good bit acceptance. If you have a young horse (under six years old), it is important to be extra cautious to avoid rubbing on the inside of the cheek, especially during teething.

CARE GUIDE
To maintain the best long-lasting quality, always clean off sweat and dirt with water and a high-quality leather soap after each use. Always store it in a cool, dry place.
We recommend applying leather balm before the first use. Reapply as needed if the leather feels dry, at least once a month. For the best results, take apart your bridle/leather product before applying leather balm.
Do not use oil as the leather already contains high levels of natural oils.
