We recommend using leather conditioner or balm on your new product to soften and moisturize it before the first use. Repeat with leather conditioner as needed if the leather feels dry. Do not use oil as the leather already contains high levels of natural oils.
After each use of your product, wipe the leather with a damp cloth or sponge to remove dirt and sweat. Then clean the product with a high-quality leather soap that also moisturizes the leather and keeps it soft. Store your product in a dry and cool place for optimal durability.
When you have used your product and followed our care instructions, it should feel soft and supple for both you and your horse. We use the finest leather from France, Italy and Spain, and we craft it using a method known as vegetable tanning. This is an ancient process that uses only natural materials like tree bark and natural oils, making it environmentally friendly and conducive to our health.
All our leather products are made by hand.
