Bhoof’s safety rubber rein, where every detailed is carefully designed. The rein features a shorter length to avoid disturbance for the horse and rider. The stoppers are designed with a 70 mm distance between them to provide a better grip. The reins have a leather loop, instead of a buckle, ensuring softer contact with the bit.

Bhoof Safety Rein 1 features a rubber material that is soft and flexible. It is designed to be used without flies, allowing the martingale rings to move freely where it should without getting caught in the bit buckle. Larger stoppers are added between the leather and rubber to prevent our martingale rings from sliding up and getting caught on the rubber during a jump.
Please note that reins are not included when purchasing a bridle.

We recommend applying leather conditioner or balm before the first use. Repeat with leather conditioner as needed if the leather feels dry.
Do not use oil as the leather already contains high levels of natural oils.
After each use when cleaning the leather, use a damp cloth or sponge with only water to remove dirt and sweat. Soften it with high-quality leather soap. Store it in a cool, dry place.
The reins are approved according to FEI and Swedish TR regulations. Note that these reins are designed to be used without stoppers. If you, as a rider, attach loose stoppers, they can function as a fixed martingale and are then not permitted according to FEI (and TR) rules.
